Can I offer recurring commissions instead of just one-time bonuses?
Yes, the commission rules engine supports both one-time and recurring commissions. A one-time rule pays out only on the initial transaction, while a recurring rule allows the partner to receive commission on all future payments made by that referred customer.
How does the system track which affiliate sent a customer?
Every partner is given a unique referral code (e.g. `9DBDD850`) which is used to build a dedicated registration link. When a new customer uses this link to register, the system permanently tags them as 'Via Referral' and ties their account and future payments to that specific affiliate.
Can referral codes expire?
Yes. You can assign an expiry date to any referral code for time-sensitive marketing campaigns. Alternatively, if no expiry is selected, the code remains permanently valid. You can also regenerate a new code for a partner at any time if an old one needs to be replaced.
How do affiliates get paid?
The system tracks an affiliate's 'Total Earned' against their 'Total Paid Out' to calculate an 'Available Balance'. You can define a minimum payout threshold. When reached, a payout request can be created and the administrator can mark it as Paid (adding a payment reference) or Rejected.
What happens if I terminate an affiliate partner?
You can change an affiliate's status to Suspended or Terminated to restrict their participation. This maintains complete control without deleting their historical referral, commission, or payout records.
